cant get logged in and cant seem to make a new account so im going to ask here if anyone can help

i tried to start my mk3 2.5D pickup today after i replace a section of the fuel hose it started ran for like 10 secs then started struggling and then cut out and would not restart

the primer would not go hard and i found that the fuel stack had rotted out causing air to be drawn in.

i rigged the fuel filter up to my own made tank primed it and the truck ran fine.

so ive been working on dropping the fuel tank and replacing the stack which i have now done all is back on primed hard and holding the prime however now the truck will not start at all nothing.... ive turned it over and over until the battery got flat...

can anyone suggest what is causing this now non start issue
