Air on compressor.

Does anyone know how a L200 aircon compressor works?

Is there any reason why it could not be converted to pump just air?

All I know is they have a certain amount of oil in the system to lubricate the pump to stop it seizing , I will stand corrected on output pressure but I was told about 200 psi . If you can sort out pump lubricant I can't see why not
