If it was me I would get the hammer out and give it a few slaps but that's just me

You will need to split the joint. I used a rubbish fork type splitter and it took ages, wrecked the rubbers and resulted in loads of swearing!

From memory you will need to split the top ball joint, remove the drive flange from the centre of the hub and everything to the outer wheel bearing. once all this is out you should be able to move the drive shaft clear so that the bolts will come out of the top of the lower wishbone. then using your ball joint splitter/prybar/TNT or any other favoured method split the ball joint and remove. Is probably easier to split the joints with the bolts still in as you will get more leverage.

It should wriggle free. If the bolt at the ball end that goes through the hole in the wishbone is out then there should be room. I do remember mine being an ass to do though!

I took mine out still Attached to the hub last time. I won't do it again tho. Next time il split it cos it was a pain in the arse. from memory I think u have to pull them down and towards the rear wheels. Mine still needed a helping hand with the nudge stick tho. Or lump hammer. What Eva u wanna call it it helps.
