#1 by scot the sniper , Sat Apr 23, 2022 1:12 pm

Hi everyone my b40 57 plate 2.5 sis Haa started overheating I have replaced the thermostat still the same. I can drive it all day everyday if I keep it at 55mph and below even with the Airton on cold it will be fine but the minute I go 60mph and above the temp starts to ceeep up.
Help please.
Thx in advance scot

Does it start to overheat when idling from warm too?

Did you flush it out when you fitted the new stat? Does the heater blow hot air?

Hi thanks for the replies

1. Yes it sits at normal temp when idling
2. Yes fitted new thermostat and got a flush from motor factors and flushed it as directed for 25min at 2000rpm and it never overheated
