Hey Dev, unfortunately fitting it upside down is the easiest way oZ guys have fitted it that way as well, its too much of a mission fitting it the other way........ Latest update is im getting the curved pipes chopped off and replaced with straight ones

Ahh I see, that certainly looks better with the centre mount and straight outlets

Do you think a water spray would be advantageous? To help cool the intercooler, extra water bottle, pump and a couple of jets??

That looks the dogs Raj! keep us posted on how it feels. When I do mine I think I'm going to cut into the grill. I want it on display and looking menacing!

Btw I hoping to get water injection next month.

Just had a measure up to see if Werbung: this intercooler will fit where the plastic silver grill is. Seems like there is plenty of room. It might even take a larger one. Hoping to do water injection and intercooler together next month some time.

Yoda i would try and get one with curved ridges rather than square ones, I met with an intercooler maker guy and he said that the aftermarket ones arent as efficient as there is less surface area, thats why i sent the ebay one back and got the evo one from devil

Have you found any of these said curved ridge coolers? The Evo one won't fit my truck.

There looks to be enough room between the ic and the main rad to get a giant leccy fan Raj? Pull air through the ic when you're in traffic or off road, and push it through the rad

Just seen the pics again... presume you'll use the one there. if you mount it as a pull and push fan it' ll be more effective on the main rad?

the manual fan is a good safety net to have - how many times have we seen traffic causing overheating probs before? the fan gives a nice feeling of "unbovvered" instead of nasty butt clenching "eyes on the temp gauge instead of on the road"

Im deffo gonna leave it in somewhere not sure where yet though, I got the intercooler from the IC man today and it should all go in together tomorrow..........
He makes the intercoolers for the like of roger clarke racing, graham goode racing.... So if someone is interested in an aftermarket intercooler for an old shape im sure he could whip it up cheaper than alisport

Raj could you get him to work out a quote? I want it in the grill right behind my bull bar. I can give dimensions of the space if needs be.

If I take a photo of the front does anyone know how to edit the photo to show the measurements indicated on the photo? Thinking that will erase misunderstandings of how big the space is.
