Im deffo gonna leave it in somewhere not sure where yet though, I got the intercooler from the IC man today and it should all go in together tomorrow..........
He makes the intercoolers for the like of roger clarke racing, graham goode racing.... So if someone is interested in an aftermarket intercooler for an old shape im sure he could whip it up cheaper than alisport

These people's are good teams to so the work must be top notch,

Shame its an L200 eh Raj I am watching soon though to copy ;)

Got back from honeymoon last night at 1am after a 10 and a half hour flight and 2 hour drive from london. But i was up at 9am outside doing the truck up, and its paid off, i got the bumper primed, and then rubbed down with wet and dry and then i put 3 coats of tough coat black paint on it and its all fitted and in place.

Tomorrow the windscreen man will be here to replace the screen.

Front mount will be great for keeping charge temps down on the road, have you made it easily removable though for cleaning as by the looks of your avatar you like the mud ......................

Raj, you putting a winch on leaving that gap for the intercooler...?

It's all a bit of a mystery to me how these things work, but to me it seems that you've gone to all the trouble of front mounting it and it won't be getting any benefit from the ram air effect due to the design of your bumper....

I did kinda think that myself, I know the previous standard one was front mounted but I did wonder if there would be much improvement given that so much of it is obstructed.
I removed about half my impreza bumper to expose my massive aftermarket FMIC to the air flow, I know this isn't overly practical on an off roader, unless he's planning on running fans or ducting air??
