Just done a comparison check for you Raj, with my bog standard intercooler which has not been flushed or removed for 67k(overdue on flushing).

At 2.800 rpm constant 80mph, air intake temperature 44c , return to tickover 30c. so you have definitely overcome the restriction of your bumper and almost back to normal.

Impressive results mate, well done, I'm going to try to graft a second top mount IC under scoop no2, a standard L200 one won't fit but ive seen a small VW / Audi one that I think will.
That's after I fit my Winch bumper though

Not tempted with a front mount GB?

Or just fit a larger single intercooler, a ncie universal on would do.

I'm not wanting to go down the road of a FMIC, id rather keep it simple and take advantage of the second scoop, id go for a thicker top mount if there was one of similar size to the original but im not paying funny money for an Allisport

GB, got a standard one here if ya need one to play with. Is there room if two were fixed together without the extension pipes.

I don't think there's enough room for a standard one Lez, that was my first idea

Not even with the pipes removed and the two almost fixed directly together. Then move the whole lot over to the NS a little ?
Only would mean adjusting the mounting arms a bit.

I'll have a look tomorrow I'm backshift at the moment, it might just fit, but you'd need to get T pieces to join the intercoolers and provide an intake from the turbo and outlet to the throttle body

Gb, I was thinking , through one cooler and then the other, then onto the throttle body

Gottcha, id thought of that with another intercooler that was configured differently, standard one would need a bit of plumbing, to do that, I'll have a look tomorrow, don't want to

You bought the right thing Raj, the genuine ones have very very good airflow for a standard engine in an Evo, we have about half the power so ideal bits of kit

Yea im glad i returned the aftermarket one and got this one, its definitely thicker and the fins seem thinner and there are more rows in the evo one compared to the other one.

Its brillaint at losing the heat driving at around 70 today on a flat road and the temps went from 46 to 39 within seconds
