Happy Christmas all - up too late I guess, but the Christmas spirit is kicking in now ;) 12 boost sensor - The plate that holds those two solenoids (black and brown) that we talked about before has a hole in it with a rubber pipe going through it. Follow this pipe to the MAP (manifold air pressure) sensor - it is attached to the inter-cooler bracket towards the middle/back/top of the engine bay. The pipe has a tendency to come detached from the sensor (fixed mine on with a jubilee clip), if it is still attached, the pipe may be split, but is more likely that the sensor is broken - this will make the ECU disable the turbo, so that is probably the cause of your shut down turbo problems. Genuine ones are pretty pricey but you can get cheaper OEM ones of the net... can't recommend a particular one tho - just type in the MR code that you can find on the label on the sensor.

I have ordered one of those MAP sensors... It is original but second hand but looks almost new..... hope fully it will be OK.

HOWEVER, I fitted this ( Werbung: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391592890407?_...K%3AMEBIDX%3AIT ) today and my turbo actuator immediately sprang into a new life..... will test run it tomorrow, but hopefully this has fixed the final issues?? The solenoids are not OEM but very reasonably priced and seem to work.

cheers
every one
