Running mine on 3rd map dial on 6, since thats how it was when I got it. Definatley a difference in power, and will cruiser slower in 4th/5th without labouring. I'm hoping to see a difference in fuel economy, every tank I've had since I started measuring has been between 27 and 29mpg so a 35mpg would be nice. Unlikely till I've got past the initial POWWWER phase and started driving normally again

Why a HG repair???
Geoff has had one on his Barbi for about 3 years with no issues and done about 70,000 miles.

If the cooling system is all good then a tune should be great on any engine. Just gets rid of all the EU emission shite and makes the engine work like it should. Just need to remember if u work it harder then look after it harder. Check the oil quality and service more frequent. Deffo keep the cooling system on top form. More power = more heat. If ur really keen into longevity then fit an EGT guage. If u are tuning then remove the EGR and dpf if u can. Not always possible. Let's the engine breathe more. Keeps EGT's down. More top end grunt. Get it tuned up and enjoy the driving.

Cooling system on standard classic is poo. So even worse on a chipped truck. Hence high HG failure in the higher HP truck range in the classics.

Found this old thread but interesting reading. Is it worth putting and Agritune box on a 2009 Warrior with 87000k on clock? I tow alot and the fuel consumption is about 350miles to a full tank (£68-80)
When im loaded the initial pull out from a junction there is a 2 sceond delay and id like a bit more

Cant see why not, will be a lot easier to tow with it fitted.
You don't have to turn it up fully, have it just half way

Any opinions on using these with a slushbox? I think the torque figures are 50nm lower on the auto, so is it asking for trouble to mess with engine output?

I have had mine getting on for a year on an 06 4life 110k miles. I dont tow often but there is definatley a power increase. I only have it on the middle setting, I could go probably go higher with it but it does what I need for now. I would say I noticed as much increase when I de-coked my inlet and fitted the EGR resistor chip thing (someone on here makes/sells them) If you haven't done that its definately worth a go as long as you are reasonably competent with a spanner. Fuel wise I've gained about 10% economy too not a lot from 27 mpg but its something.

I did have trouble with my fuel metering valve a few months ago. Had limp mode/EML coming on. I cant remember exactly what the fault code was or said but it was about a 15 minute job to replace the valve. Related to the chip? Possibly. I assume would have been on its way out anyway and couldn't handle the higher fuel pressures
