Good news! I need to find a bargain bumper or sort a pipe bender and do something myself!

There's an old guy near me with a singlecab classic with a TJM winch bumper. I think it might be easier just to steal that.

Are you mounting the bumper on the chassis end plates with 4 bolts? I spoke to Leyland fabrication as they mount theirs that way and they say it's fine like that, plenty stong enough.

4 bolts at the front of the chassis and 1 either side going through the side of the chassis leg so 6 in total

Cheers Scott, that was just the test fit, it gaps up alot better now.

I got it back from the blasters the afternoon TBH they never done a great job there was still bits of paint here and there, so I had to buff it back to the metal and will have to prime it again tomorrow so it won't be painted till Monday now

Bum. Will look great when it's done. Pity all the paint will be scraped off at the clog

All painted, winch on and wired but not connected to the control box, that'll be a job for the weekend and I'll spool the cable onto the drum.
All that remains is to wire the spots with mr T's loom and make a couple of tread plates out of ally chequer for the top of the bumper.

I'm really pleased with how its turned out, it looks good on silver, but it would have been easier to maintain in satin black

Pics to follow

I'm under orders that for the final 2 days of my holiday I have to start decorating so I made a point of getting the spots wired up tonight with my LezT loom, it worked a treat, they're pretty bright

Well the decorating has been started but not finished

Whilst pondering the next brush stroke I chanced upon this wee beauty

Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

A snap at £15, its Clydebuilt and has a decent bit of weight to it so it must be worth about that in scrap, thanks to Ian from the mud club.
I get my set of Asfirs on Thursday and just to get a set of waffle boards and I'll be happy, I think the saying is "all the gear, but no idea"

Cheers Raj, Yup the same old rusty Hilux ARB that had about 10 coats of Hamerite on it

It was probably more work than I would have liked, but it turned out well I think......not tried it in anger yet though, still need to get better bolts for the clog

Deffo looks like it belongs to the L200!! Did you have to manufacture new brackets or did you end up modifying the old ones
