Photos of the camera attached, and also the tweaks to the centre console, now have a 12v socket and a twin USB charge point on top and another on the back for the kids! Battery isolator switch turns all the power outputs on/off from a permanent live. Zombie light switch will be for my small light bar which I'm still undecided if it's going front or back.

Switches are slightly odd, the lower light is controlled by the dash lighting, and the upper light with the icon on is switched, I thought would be the other way round.

Nothing to the L200 but I did do an EGR delete on a Land Rover. Then I went to the pub came back and watched World Super Bikes race 2 ... now that's what I call an almost perfect day.

The new pod is in with gauges wired up , just a little bit of tidying up to do and that bit is done

Where's the pics ... how to required ... the 10 minute install is a piece of piss. We need to know how to expend all that extra time.

I suspect I've already done that with something else I ordered ........ lobbed all the packaging ........ then had a look a week or so later and noticed there were no nuts and bolts ........ I suspect that they were there and I've lobbed them in the bin ....... and the bin had been emptied by the time I looked

Always leaved packaging on the dining room table, if it gets thrown out with bits still in it then it's not your fault!

Update. I've had to put a visor on the new pod as I get an upside down hud affect on the screen at night , in hindsight I should of kept the gauges on more of a horizontal plane to stop this

Fitted new rear shoes, drums and handbrake cables. Wow feels great to have brakes again. With all the mud the linings on the shoes have only lasted just over a year. I also gave underneath it's first deep clean since owning the truck. The drive was a mess... Took longer to clean the drive up afterwards...

I started cutting up an old grill today to make a new one for mine , it's off a 2000 model as I prefer the shape of those ones . The clever among you lot will know that the early grill is shallow compared to the 2002 model ( difference is the bumper ) but I have that covered as I'm putting in a lower mesh panel , forgot to say the large holes will be backed with mesh

I decided to upgrade the ride of my truck ... I replaced the heavy winter air with super lightweight Chiltern's spring variety. The difference was instantly transforming. The air was modified slightly by my German high pressure delivery unit so it's even more efficient than the regular stuff.
I also applied some high conspicuity reflective decals to the bottom edge of my newly installed roller shutter garage door. I got it all done and perfectly aligned and was well chuffed. It serves as a proper reminder as you now can't miss the fact that the door might not be full open ... it didn't work. I walked straight into the poxy thing within five minutes. Nearly had my eye out!

Do you find the chiltern air gives a softer ride or because it's been through a German manufacturing plant it is now hard and unforgiving

I now understand how the German's utilised the Blitzkrieg process to such great effect ... they used the same air as me.
