When posting can please supply some basic information about your truck ( such as year of manufacture and series/mark ) to enable a more focused answer.

Thanks for the welcome, I'm a Somerset lad, pin is on the map, and looking to buy my first L200, I've always been a VAG man myself, owning various Seat's, Audi's, Skoda's and VW's but my dad has been a Jap fan over the years, owning Mitsubishi VR4's and a scooby, I've converted him now to an S3.

Looking to buy a L200 as about to start a barn conversion and need something suitable to load bags of sand/cement and timber, my '67 Plate Octavia VRS would not have liked it.
