white smoke on initial start up

#1 by taffy , Fri May 28, 2021 11:49 pm

Hi.
I have had the engine rebuilt recently, 2007 L200 B40 starts ok, runs fine, but some mornings if I try it before the glow plug light goes off, plumes of white smoke out the back, not really good for the environment and anyone passing by!
It's really quite daunting, a proper cloud!! been advised it could be injector seals leaking
Anyone for some advice or had an issue the same??

If the engine has just been rebuilt why were new injector seal not fitted at the same time?
They come in the new gasket kit

as far as I am aware it had new injector seals when it was rebuilt, it's just now the problem persists and I need a resolve.
