Yep. The whole installation is semi rigid transparent pipe.

change out any pipes after the valve mate, back end return should not matter unless you have the system on a loop , if you have then any air cannot get out other than via the injectors

So generally do not rate semi rigid pipe then!? Can I get clear fuel hose? No loop, return is back to veg tank. I like it that way.

good pipes if you have them on compression joints like plumbers use, ive never been impressed with connections to rubber pipes, way i see it is more connections the more chance of a problem, way your piped up each run has four joints, with rubber hose you only have two

It's a Toyosports exhaust. Got it through their eBay shop. It has changed the sound but not as much as I thought it might. Combined with the snorkel though she feels more eager, more responsive and a bit smoother. From the driving seat you can still hear the induction noise over the exhaust note.

Having driven home now (45mins) as opposed to a spin around the block, there is definitely a deeper more raw note over 2250rpm. But by that time the wind noise and induction from the snorkel are masking it so you only really hear it with the windows down around town. I wouldn't say she's quicker but def feels more comfortable on the motorway now, power wise. And again a more capable acceleration as opposed to quicker. That's my assessment anyway.

Luke; just wondered whether the exhaust hangs as low as it seems to in the pic?
Do you go off-roading and, if so, do you have any sneaky plans to stop the poor thing getting ripped off?

It's mandrel bent downwards right at the end there Skotl. So it is as high up as a standard, just the very tail that you see there is pointed down. And yes, I plan to make a side exit twin pipe

neat

What's your plans for off-roading then? Would you remove the side exit before plunging in (ooh-err)?

Thanks Steve. Proper offloading will wait until my next lift is done. I'll do the side exit then too. With the fast approaching winter this may not be until spring now.

I can sympathise there mate I'm hoping it wont hamper my progress too much but think in all fairness the weather is probably going to delay any lifting of the truck till spring time .....there are a few jobs worth getting frostbite for.,,,

cheers

Wrecked my steps last time and I'd hate to think what would have happened to an expensive steel exhaust that was in the same proximity!

Having heard Raj's exhaust this is now top of my list but don't want to wreck it the next time I follow Greigy into a quarry (that's not a metaphor)

With you all the way on that Malky.

So, mods done:
Stage 1 lift
A/T tyres
Spot lights
Snorkel
Apollo induction
Performance exhaust
Boost gauge
EGT gauge
Water injection (still needs fettling)
Veg conversion
Split charger

Mods to do (in no certain order):
Wide arches (in progress)
Offset modular wheels
Winch bumper from WellSpacedOut
Rock sliders from Mck
Matt black wrap
2nd stage lift
Shocks (not sure which)
OME Torsion bars and springs
Tune up injection pump and jack up waste gate

And last but not least an engine swap. But this is going to wait for all the others to be complete, on account of having a new engine already.
