I think that may be a style i could go with, with some towing shackles each side of the winch. Sorry hi-jack !

Got the bumper off, dirty, no good.

Realise that I am not going to get this together with my tools and in the need of moving the truck, so for the moment it looks like this.

Tomorrow I will get the truck to a friend with a plasma cutter so we can get it together, anybody that can guess what I am thinking?

I think I'd be recontacting the seller and getting a partial refund, id be pretty pissed off after paying several hundred pounds it should be a straight fit, no messing about with indicators, headlamp washers or mounting bolt holes, as you'll be compromising the powder coat doing the adjustments

I am way to nice to complain, I know I should but I have a hard time doing so, and it is a bit fun to make things work.

The powder coating is going to be compromised anyway in the woods so that is not a problem, have a big can of black hammerite for that purpose

I like pissing about with things too but that's perhaps because I can never afford to have things done for me, will hopefully be getting this bad boy on soon but it's going to take a fair bit of pissing about as its off a hilux

Great work danne, just wondering if u and malky have contacted the seller regarding the issues

RE: Danne´s garage

manraj - yup I did - he basically said i could send it back, however as it cost over £150 for me to get it to me i didn't see the logic in sending it back at even more expense - no refund and he is now no longer selling them. I suspect he ha shad more than just me onto him about them. - hopefully he is correcting the fabrication and will come back with a better product - I have already posted that I would not recommend that producer even though the bumper (now fettled into place) looks good and is a solid fit.

I was at my friends garage to day to cut out new holes but the plasma cutter did not wnat to work so it will be one more go at it to morrow.

I have no winch yet but I thinking dual engine 25 m/min one. Got a friend that got one for a very good price.

What do you mean wellspacedout?

Two of the holes where out about 3mm sideways and the whole bumper where about 15mm low, not sure if it was on purpose but I did not like it so going to fix that too.
