Okej, so I got my bumper to day and going to start fit it tonight, because its going to be allot of pics i started a thread about my car so I can use it for other builds to.

I paid £434 including p&p to Sweden so they are not very expensive.

Now I have started but cant get the old one off, have found 6 bolts that holds it but it wont come lose, what have I missed?

and disconnected, indicators, lights - way underneath to the sides theres a couple of wee bolts, I seem to recall?

I was trying t get the plastic and frame of in one go, but maybe that is not possible?

don`t know Danne but my old plastic bumper/frame is sitting round the corner here in two pieces, so maybe not

Looking good Danne is it only 4 bolts that hold it onto the front of the chassis?

I'm possibly fitting my ARB winch bumper tomorrow, if I can get into my mates garage, I'm not looking forward to taking the old one off, I've got a feeling it will be a pig and lots of bolts will shear, either way the plastic one will have to go back on meantime as it will be fabrication only tomorrow but I don't know when I'll have time to prep and paint it

its the same as mine was greig, the guy that had it before me had plates made up to go on the sides of the chassis rails to assist the x4 front ones I`ll take some pics tomorrow, if I look tonight and cannot find any

Looking good buddy, might be best to edit a photo the big boss has been looking for his matching jacket & you have it hanging on your radiator

No probs Geoff, I think I'll be fabricating some side supports in the wheel arches to stop the bumper twisting under winch strain, the 4 chassis bolts seem pretty low down given the position of the winch higher up
I wish I had a winch to ensure there's enough clearance between the bumper and Rad but can't see that happening this year

there are four bolts on the front centre - 14mm i tthink thats the main frame bolts - there are two small square metal panels inside the wings either side you need to get them off 6x 12mm studs on each - thats the lot at the back of the bumper - you can take the frame and plastic off in one piece ....trust me. mind and disconnect the temp sensor as well as all the lights and mind there is a stud in the middle at the top centre of the bumper hidden by the grill.
