Thats just given me a cracking idea for my future isuzu conversion. Cut the bellhousings and I'll tig the trooper bolt pattern to the mitsi bellhousing. No need for adapter plates.

Is it a big job getting the bellhousings off?

When he says rubber mallet...he really means 14lb sledge lol. Seriously though mate its looking like a fun engineering job. Id of been sweating cutting that bellhousing.

Well I did use a large ball pain in the end. Started off with a rubber one tho so it's the thought that counts. I'm already full on balls deep into this project so cutting a bell housing is a no sweat job now. I can't get any further in

Bell housing is all converted now so the slave cylinder is a push type now instead of a pull type. I've used a commercial Mercedes Vito van slave so should last longer.

All is well now.
Wrong
The l200 master cylinder won't give enough movement in the slave cylinder. Solution is to swap it out for a bigger one. Got one off a 2650 John Deere. It's quite similar in shape just with a much larger cylinder bore. It just needed Some slight adjustment and modding.

Well I got it started today on the floor. I'm happy it runs. It's the first time I've ever heard it run.
